HAIKU 21


 

I pray for homeless

As I sit in heated home

And list a bit more




A reflection on comfort, prayer, and action in situ of the archaic, literary term, "list" and it's last deposit of utilization within the landscape of useful terms. "List", in said sense, alludes to the irony of unmoved inaction within the scope of actions found in these present-tense verbs: lust, wish, and desire. 

In short, its a reflection on the comforts of inaction and a call to recognize the signs when we are in that particular zone so that we can still motivate our action toward social good.
